I came across a set of brilliant videos by Debra Silverman portraying all 12 signs of the Zodiac. As soon as I came to Saggitarius, I started laughing. I have a Saggitarius friend and she’s so unbelievably close to what Debra is expressing in this video:

I myself am a sun sign Virgo, with a strong Saturnal streak (including a Capricorn Asc). The thing my Saggitarius friend probably doesn’t understand the most is my gravity. The thing I don’t understand about her is “how everything is so simple because it’s meaningless”.

Since Virgo/Caps are not really allergic to the bluntness of Saggitarius we can tolerate each other just fine. Virgo/Caps can be a bit snappy themselves. The funny part about being around my Saggitarius friend is that I learn from her how to be rather straightforward, in a no-nonsense zero gravity kind of way. In turn I think she learns from me how to have perseverence, that some things do have meaning even if it is not apparent at first light.

I’ve added new wallpaper art to the gallery. This time it’s an interpretation of the natal chart of one of my friends. I had promised her ages ago I would convert her natal chart into something visually understandable; I’ve finally been able to resolve that promise.

Radix: a friend

Radix: a friend

As you can see from the chart, she’s a Saggitarius Ascendant. Therefor I’ve used a Centaur to the left of the Ascendant. A very remarkable thing in her chart is the placement of Neptune and Venus near the axis. She’s commonly described as “sweet, huggable and very approachable”. This is why I’ve placed some emphasis on using light pink, including the lady in the pink dress holding a bouquet of flowers near the placement of Venus. It’s originally a painting of Queen Marie Henriette.

My friend is also fiercely protective of family members and those close to her. That can be seen in the dragon that’s behind the chart wheel in the bottom part (Sun and Mercury in house 4). In the house of friends there is Uranus. When she followed an introduction course in astrology the teacher told her: “You must have some offbeat friends then!”. As an astrologer myself with Uranus in the 10th house, I felt honored (haha). As you know, Uranus is electricity, the spark of invention. This would explain the use of lightning bolts near the 11th house (friends). Her energetic Jupiter/Mars is in a dark place and won’t come out very easily; this was the reason I used a ‘swamp like’ environment to finish it.
