As I published the natal chart of Tomohisa Yamashita, I will be doing follow ups to see where I went wrong and where I was right. A few days ago Yamashita published in his jweb that his knees were giving him trouble. I remembered to have written something about joint related problems in my publication. So I went back to read it. This is what I wrote:

For Neptune in the sixth house, there’s real danger from medically administered drugs and care is needed with household gas appliances. Care is needed when dealing with addictive substances. There is a heightened risk of injuries to the feet. The area of the hip (joint) is indicated as prone to wear faster.
Sleep is raised in importance with this position, as he will need it to prevent a whole range of ailments. The square between Mars and Jupiter may indicate a higher than usual need for Vitamine B12 and Folic acid; it rules the production of red bloodcells. It may also cause accidents since there’s a tendency to take risks.

I identified it as being the hip joint, the knees are a bit lower than that! So while I identified ‘joint’ as being a problem due to the affliction of Neptune in the 6th house (health) I had attributed the body parts more to Pisces/Saggitarius than to Capricorn. I’m now unsure why I wrote it up that way since Neptune is obviously in Capricorn!! I do notice my approach to astrology is from time to time “Uranian” (only minding the aspects), which may have played a part in this. If you want to see how obvious this should have been to me try this query on google. That’s what we call a ‘slap ones forehead’ moment.

Close I’d say, but in the eyes of many probably not close enough. However, I think I’ve gained some more confidence in pinpointing where in the chart health problems exist as at least I picked Neptune out of all the objects in the chart and allocated the lower part of the body. Pretty good astrology in my book, I just need to keep my eye on the signs!

A much debated point in horary astrology is ‘when to use derived houses’. Maybe it’s just me but I keep seeing differences in how it’s being used in interpretation. It’s often an issue when the question you ask becomes really complex. No horary book I’ve read so far was able to give me a ready-made answer, so I guess we’re just left on our own to figure it out each time. As a real Cappy Asc/ Virgo Sun, I decided to at least find a structure for myself in this ‘blur’ of when to use derived houses in a horary.

I was reading a topic today about a conspiracy theory where the government would be consciously polluting the land so the population would decrease. The question was really eye catching and so was the analysis! I just had to try and make sense of the chart myself. I found that I prefer to use less significators and find strict rules on how to apply the logic much more comforting (damned neat freaks, those virgo’s).

The exact question was “Is there a plan to deliberately reduce world population?” The topic “government” has been cut and so was “food”, “land” and “poison” which seemed to be the starting point for this question.
